Everyone loves a Parade…. and the 5th Annual Harwich Chamber of Commerce Hometown Parade is Sunday September 8th at 11:30.
Our Grand Marshal this year is Recently Retired Deputy Police Chief Tom Gagnon- In Tom’s 39 years in public safety 33 years were in Harwich. He was hired by Police Chief John Raneo in 1986. He still works a few road construction and Wednesday Music Night Strolls details. He remembers when he started in the police department everything was done by hand or on an old typewriter. He drove the huge Crown Victoria Fords they had speed. So very proud to honor Tom and thank him for his service to Harwich.
